Not a tips feed

WideRadar for research — not a tips feed

By WideRadar · Published August 17, 2026

WideRadar is a research workstation. It will not text you a ticker, sell you someone else’s trade, or replace your judgment with a push notification. You get relative-strength leaders, a serious chart, EPS/sales/margins on the same pane, and a full-tape breadth read — then you decide. If you want a stream of “ideas,” this is the wrong product. If you want one place to do the work without a tips channel, this is the door.

Tools, then judgment

Leadership Score, buy/partial/hold/sell verdicts, and Market Tone are checklists. They compress the questions a careful trader already asks. They are not signals to follow blindly, and they are not a substitute for reading the name in front of you.

What “research desk” means in practice

It means the morning is yours. You rank strength instead of inheriting a list. You confirm structure and earnings quality on a chart that is built to stay fast. You check participation so you are not buying a leader into a thinning tape. None of that requires a guru, a Discord ping, or a recap thread. It requires a desk that keeps those steps in one loop.

It also means we will not pretend the software trades for you. There is no copy-trading layer, no public idea feed as the homepage, and no “today’s five buys.” Alerts exist so you can watch conditions you chose — not so we can spam tickers at you.

What you will find instead of tips

How to use scores without becoming a passenger

Treat every number as a question. High Leadership Score: “Is this still a leader on the chart, or am I late?” Buy verdict: “Which rules fired, and do I agree?” Caution tone: “Do I want any new risk, or only management of what I have?” If you cannot answer those in a sentence, you are not doing research — you are outsourcing.

The healthy habit is to let the desk veto, not to let it originate. You still pick the name. The software tells you when the pond, the structure, the numbers, or the tape are arguing. That is a higher standard than a tips feed, and a slower dopamine hit. That is intentional.

A research morning without a guru

  1. Start on Leaders, not on messages. If a ticker came from somewhere else, still run it through sector RS, the stock list, and the chart. Most outside names fail one of those quickly.
  2. Open the chart like you own the outcome. Read structure, volume, the verdict as a checklist, then the data panel. Write the invalidation before you size.
  3. Ask the tape for permission to size, not for a story. Breadth either allows planned size or it does not. It does not give you a narrative to post.
  4. Stop when the loop is done. More browsing is usually more rationalising. Two good names and a tape read beat twenty charts with no decision.

Frequently asked questions

Will WideRadar send me tickers to buy?

No. There is no tips feed and no “today’s buys” list from us. You get rankings, charts, earnings beside price, and breadth. Alerts, if you use them, are conditions you set.

Then what is the buy / sell verdict for?

It is a rules-based checklist (trend versus 50- and 200-day, RSI, ATR, volume) so you do not skip questions when you are rushed. You still decide. If the verdict and your eyes disagree, your eyes plus the rest of the loop win.

Can I use this alongside other research?

Yes. The point is that the daily loop should not depend on five logins. Do deep work elsewhere if you need filings or a model. Do not let that become a substitute for ranking leaders, reading the chart, and checking the tape here.

Is this only for professional traders?

It is for people who will do the work: growth and momentum traders who care about relative strength, earnings quality, and a clean chart. You do not need a firm’s letterhead. You do need to be willing to decide without a tips stream.
