This Cookie Policy explains how WideRadar uses cookies and similar technologies (including local storage) on wideradar.com. It works together with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use browser local storage for preferences. Some are essential for the Service to work; others help us understand usage or measure advertising and are used only with your consent.
Nothing in the Analytics or Marketing categories is loaded before you choose. Where Google tags are used we also apply Google Consent Mode v2, which tells those tags that analytics and advertising storage are denied by default and only updates that signal to reflect the choice you actually made.
On your first visit we ask you to Accept all or Don't allow, and the settings button on the banner lets you decide on Analytics and Marketing separately. Both non-essential categories start switched off, so doing nothing means nothing beyond the necessary cookies is set. You can change your mind anytime via cookie settings in the site footer, or by clearing site data in your browser.
Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately, without needing a page reload. When you turn a category off we stop sending data to that provider and delete the identifiers it had already stored on your device.
Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (not in a cookie) for up to 12 months, after which we ask again. We also ask again if we change the categories described above. Clearing your browser storage resets the choice and the banner returns.
Analytics and marketing technologies are provided by Google and X Corp. (as applicable). Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies in addition to this notice.
