The Charting tab is a research workstation for individual stocks — the last step in the loop after breadth and leaders. Type any ticker for a chart, rules-based buy/sell verdict, Leadership Score, and financials. For candle/volume basics, see How to Read a Stock Chart for Beginners.
Start with the Leaders tab to identify which sectors and names are strongest, then use the Charting tab to drill into each candidate. Check the verdict and Leadership Score first, then the chart and financials.
Create multiple named watchlists and switch between them from the left panel. Built-in screens include RS Leaders (top-scoring stocks in confirmed uptrends), Today's Gainers, and Tight Setups (low-volatility consolidations). Themed presets cover curated thematic groups like AI infrastructure and energy transition.
The 0–100 Leadership Score blends relative strength vs SPY, trend quality, and volume confirmation. Scores above 70 mark genuine leaders. The financials panel shows sector, market cap, revenue trend, EPS, and YoY earnings growth — enough to confirm real earnings support before entering.
The verdict is a rules-based output combining trend regime (50d vs 200d MA), RSI level, ATR extension, and volume characteristics. Buy = strong trend confirmed above both MAs; Partial = some conditions met, consider a starter position; Hold = trend intact with no exit signal; Sell = trend structure broken, exit or reduce exposure. It is a structured checklist to prompt your own thinking, not a signal to act blindly.
The Leadership Score (0–100) blends relative strength vs SPY, trend quality, and volume confirmation. Scores above 70 mark genuine market leaders. The same score appears on the Leaders and Gainers/Losers tabs — it is consistent across the whole dashboard. A high score tells you the stock is acting like a leader, raising the probability that a valid setup will follow through.
Built-in screens surface filtered stock lists automatically. RS Leaders shows top-scoring stocks in confirmed uptrends (50d > 200d). Today's Gainers shows the session's biggest movers. Tight Setups surfaces stocks in low-volatility consolidation after a strong trend — a classic pre-breakout setup pattern. Themed presets cover curated groups like AI infrastructure and energy transition.
